Find support in your province
The Responsible Gambling Council’s Canadian help directory links to regional support services. Use it to locate current contact information for your area.
In Ontario, iGaming Ontario’s help page directs people to ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600, by text at 247247, or through its chat service. It describes the service as free, confidential and available anytime.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion can restrict access to participating gambling services. Coverage differs, so read what the particular program includes and excludes.
iGaming Ontario announced BetGuard in May 2026 as a centralized self-exclusion tool for Ontario’s regulated online market. Use the official announcement to reach the service and read its current scope.
For other provinces, consult the official gambling provider or provincial authority for the applicable program.
When to step away
Borrowing to gamble, hiding losses, chasing a previous loss or repeatedly breaking your own limits are reasons to pause and seek support. Gambling should not be treated as a solution to debt or a dependable source of income.
If there is an immediate danger to you or someone else, contact emergency services. This website is not a counselling or emergency service.
